Brown Spots / Age Spots

As time passes, we can see the aging process in our skin and the suns effects. This can show up as brown, red and white spots of discoloration and growths, skin thinning, and precancerous and cancerous areas. Some people call them liver spots but the technical name is solar lentigines. Spots of discoloration can vary in size and will most likely appear on areas most exposed to the sun, such as the face, hands, shoulders and arms. Age spots are very common in adults older than 50 but they can show up on younger people as well.

There are also numerous other skin signs of aging and damage. We are happy to work with you to reverse these signs. The Dermatology Clinic offers several non-surgical options for treatment of sun spots and other signs of aging. Chemical peels, topical retinoids, oral supplements and medical grade cosmetic products are just some of the options we offer to our patients to combat visible signs of sun damage to reveal more beautiful, rejuvenated skin.
